ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವೈಭಮೊಪೇತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿ ನೋಡಲು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜನರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದರು.
ಹಸೆರು, ಬಂಗಾರದ ಅಲಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳೆಸಿದ ಅನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಂಚಾರಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯು ರಾಜಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿತು. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳು, ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ದಳ, ನಾಡಿನ ಕಲಾ ತಂಡಗಳು ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿಗೆ ಮತಷ್ಟು ಪೈಭವ ತಂದವು.
ಅಂಬಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಿಯ ಉತ್ತವ ಮೂರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯವಿವಿತ್ತು, ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿ ಆಗಿದರು.
ದಸರಾ ಉತ್ಸವವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವೈಭವದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿ ಅದರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಧಲ್ಲ ಭಕ್ತರು, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಪೂಚೆಸರು ಭಾರೀ ಸುಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ದಸರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ರಂಗು ರಂಗಿನ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣುಂಚಿಕೋಡರು.
ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿ ವೇಳೆ ಭದ್ರತೆಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬಿಗಿ ಬಂಡೋಬಸ್ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳೆಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಗರಡ ಜನತೆ ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿ ನೋಡಲು ಹಲಗೇಡಿ ರಸ್ವಗಳು, ರಾಜಬೀದಿ, ವ್ರತಗಳು, ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರಾರು ಜನರು ಜಮಾಗಣಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
